Biography

Andrew James Brown grew up in Red Oak, Iowa. He was the son of Mr. F. C. Brown and Mrs. Sarah E. Brown.

He graduated from Iowa State College in 1916 with a degree in Animal Husbandry.

Andrew joined the infantry at Camp Dodge, Iowa. He attended Officer Training School at Camp Zachary Taylor, Kentucky. There he died of scarlet fever on December 27, 1918.
