Biography

First Sergeant Frank Lewis Glick was the son of Mr. A.G. Glick and the nephew of Mr. L. C. Abbott. He came to Iowa State College from his hometown Marshalltown, Iowa.

Frank was part of the class of 1915, perhaps majoring in Industrial Chemistry.

He joined the Marines at Chicago Illinois on May 20, 1917 and was assigned to the 6th Marines, 80th Company. He then transferred to Paris Island, South Carolina. He was also stationed at Quantico, Virginia for a time before being sent overseas.

Frank was killed in action at Chateau Thierry, France on June 3, 1918.
