Cyclone Cinema presents a special showing of the film Uranium Derby which takes a look at young woman's investigation into her hometown's secret involvement in the Manhattan Project, which triggers a chain reaction of encounters through which it becomes clear that the topic of nuclear waste has been more successfully buried than the waste itself.
Uranium Derby director and Ames native Brittany Prater will introduce the film and be around for a post screening Q&A and discussion.
