Dave Weld and The Imperial Flames are an authentic, real-deal, high-energy blues band, featuring versatile talent and variety for a cohesive show that includes original houserockin blues, blues rock, funk, boogie, and soul.
The band offers blues originals with striking three part vocal harmony from passionate slide guitarist Dave Weld, a protege of Grammy-winning blues great J.B. Hutto, blues diva and two time RAMI winner Monica Myhre (Mona Rose), and the smooth voice of drummer Jeff Taylor. They’re joined by Dave Service blazing on bass, Harry YaSeen, tutored by the famous Art Hodes, on piano/organ, and the Mississippi saxman, Rogers Randle. All together, Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames provide the quintessential Chicago blues experience for a concert you don’t want to miss!
