Biography

Private Everett Tracy Clark came to Iowa State College from his hometown of Cedar Falls, Iowa, as a member of the Mechanical Training Detachment, Company B.

He died of influenza on November 18, 1918. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Clark.

Cedar Falls Boy, Student at Ames, Is Victim of ‘Flu’
Cedar Falls, Nov. 18,--Everett Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Clark, died at 3 a.m. today at the hospital at the Iowa State college, Ames. He had been ill of influenza. Private Clark left Cedar Falls two weeks ago with a county contingent which was sent to Ames in response to a special vocational call. Besides the parents he is survived by two brothers, one of whom is in the navy. The body will be brought to Cedar Falls for burial tomorrow.
