Biography
George Edmund (Eddie) Reilly was born November 20, 1906 to James Reilly and Beatrice (Simon) Reilly. He grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State College in 1935. After graduation, he moved to Longview, Washington.
Eddie served with the 833rd Engineer Aviation Battalion in the US Army after being inducted in April 1942. He was injured during an attack at the RAF Gosfield in Essex, England on December 10, 1943 and died from his injuries on December 11, 1943.
