Biography
Wayne grew up in Burlington, Iowa and graduated from Burlington Junior College in 1935 and Iowa State College in 1937. He played football in high school and junior college, and went on to marry Jean Suesens.
Lieutenant Wayne Suesens, 27, went missing in action somewhere in the pacific July 8, 1942.
Wayne had been a pilot aboard an aircraft carrier that was ordered to see just before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
