Please submit the following form to request the use of an MU booth or tabling space. The table and booth locations are available to recognized student organizations. This form is intended only for requests, it does not guarantee the use or location availability. 

The following states the regulations for the booth and tables:

  • Recognized Student Organizations and students may use a table or booth between 8am and 5pm on the day of their reservation.
  • Space is scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Cancellation of space must be made within three days of the reservation start date.
  • Only current ISU students and the organization’s official advisor(s) are permitted to occupy the booth/table. 
  • Groups not occupying their table or booth within 30 mins of the start of the reservation start time on the day of their reservation, without prior notification, must inform the Event Management Office of late occupation or they forfeit their reservation for that day.
  • Table and booth locations are available to students.
  • The Event Management Office reserves the right to deny a table or booth request date due to violation of any of these policies. 
  • The table and booth are available between September 1 and May 15 while class is in session (during prep and finals week tables aren’t available).

Student Organization Use: 

  • Must be recognized by Student Engagement for the current year
  • Must be utilized to promote their organization for recruitment or be utilized to promote event attendance for an event at a specific time, location and date
  • The named organization and/or student must be present at the booth/table for the duration of the reservation
  • May reserve booth or table space in the MU at no charge
  • The activities of the organization/student(s) occupying a table/booth must remain within the confines of the table or booth. Students staffing a booth/table must not block walkways, stairways, and other egress, or otherwise interfere with the operations of and free flow of traffic within the MU.
  • No amplified sound is permitted
  • Are limited to 8 advanced reservations per semester
  • Are allowed a maximum of 4 consecutive days per reservation

Student Use: 

  • Must be an active ISU student to make a reservation
  • Must be utilized to promote their organization for recruitment to create an organization or to promote event attendance for an event at a specific time, location and date
  • The named organization and/or student must be present at the booth/table for the duration of the reservation
  • Commercial solicitation, advertising and sales are not permitted on campus except as explicitly permitted by IAC 681-13.15
  • May reserve booth or table space in the MU at no charge
  • The activities of the organization/student(s) occupying a table/booth must remain within the confines of the table or booth. Students staffing a booth/table must not block walkways, stairways, and other egress, or otherwise interfere with the operations of and free flow of traffic within the MU.

  • Are allowed a maximum of 4 consecutive days per reservation

Space Locations: 

  • The booth is located on the second floor outside the West Student Office Space and is available between 8am and 5pm.
  • The tabling location is at the south atrium outside the bookstore and is available between 7am and 9:45pm
